Multidisciplinary

The capacity to stretch the ligaments and hamstrings of the mind to avoid disciplinary hardening of the arteries. A kind of ethic marked by long bouts of uncertainty while inventing new bodies of knowledge.

As in the musical vocabulary of Dizzie Gillespie and Charley Parker after they took Machito, the African drum, and composed what would be called Afro-Cuban jazz.
